Terms and conditions

These terms cover the nextversionof.me website, the free taster and quiz, the Next Version of Me course, and sessions with Alissa. By using the site or buying the course, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who you are dealing with

The Next Version of Me is a trading name of Alissa Lang Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact details are at the end of this page.

2. What the course is, and is not

The Next Version of Me is an educational and developmental course about direction, goals and how your brain forms habits and defaults. It is not therapy, counselling, coaching for a clinical condition, or medical care. We do not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are struggling, please speak to your GP or a qualified professional. You remain responsible for your own health, decisions and actions.

3. Eligibility

The course and sessions are for people aged 18 and over.

4. The free taster and the quiz

The taster and the quiz are free, need no account, and are provided as they are. The quiz result is a reflection prompt, not an assessment of you.

5. What you get when you buy

• The Course, Self-Guided (£27): access to all seven stages of the course, the exercises, and the Deeper WHYs and Deep Dive material, for as long as the course is published. You can do it in seven days or at your own pace.
• Course + Session (£127): everything above, plus one 50-minute 1-2-1 online session with Alissa, to be taken when you finish the course. The session is booked through our booking page and must be used within 12 months of purchase.

Prices are in GBP and include any applicable taxes. Payment is taken at the time of purchase through our payment provider, Stripe. We may change prices at any time; the price you paid is the price you paid.

6. Your access code

After purchase you receive an access code by email. It is for you alone. Please do not share it, post it, or use it to give others access to the course. If a code is shared, we may withdraw it and issue you a new one, or in serious cases end your access without refund.

7. Sessions

The Recreate Me Session (£120, 50 minutes) is booked and paid for on our booking page. Sessions are delivered live online at a time booked through our booking page. If you need to move a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice and we will find another time. A session missed, or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, counts as taken. If we have to cancel, we will offer a new time.

8. Cancellations and refunds

The course is digital content. Under UK consumer law you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund, unless you have started accessing the course, at which point that right ends. You will be asked to agree to this at checkout. The session that comes with Course + Session can be cancelled for a refund of its part of the price at any time before it is booked; once it has been booked and taken, or missed, it is not refundable.

If something is wrong with the course, tell us and we will put it right or refund you.

9. Intellectual property

The course, the exercises, the site copy and the Next Version of Me method are the property of Alissa Lang Ltd. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own development. You may not copy, share, resell, teach from, or redistribute course materials without our written permission. What you write during the course, your vision, your WHYs, your goals, is yours.

10. Results

The course works when you do the exercises, and outcomes depend on your own engagement and circumstances. We do not guarantee any specific result.

11. Use of the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to do anything that could harm the site, its availability or the course, including attempting to bypass the course access controls.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alissa Lang Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the site, the course or a session. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified by email or a notice on the site. The terms in force when you bought the course apply to that purchase.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
